A blue whale, jellyfish and starfish, a sailboat under a yellow sun — stitched for the photographs that came back from the sea.
Underwater scenes in blue and coral on pale linen, or a nautical cover with a boat, waves and clouds. We stitch a name or a line like 'Sophia's Summer' across the front. Made for holiday photographs, first swims and anything with sand in it.

About the photos
Some of the photos show the same embroidery stitched on our other pieces — a keepsake box, a canvas, a guest book — so you can see the needlework close up. What you are ordering on this page is the album with sleeves.
Care
Spot clean the linen with a damp cloth and let it dry flat. Keep it out of direct sun so the thread colours stay true.
Choosing a size
6 × 9 cm takes wallet prints. 10 × 15 cm is the size most photo labs print by default — one photo a page keeps the album slim, two a page fits twice as many. 13 × 18 cm and 15 × 21 cm are for prints you want people to stop and look at.

Embroidery is a delicate art form that requires special attention to maintain its beauty and durability. The care instructions for embroidery depend on the type of embroidery, the fabric, and the thread used.
- Wash your embroidery items with a mild detergent and cold or lukewarm water. Avoid bleach, hot water, and harsh chemicals that may damage the embroidery or cause color bleeding.
- Hand wash your embroidery items gently and do not rub, wring, or twist them. If you use a washing machine, use a delicate cycle and place your items in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase to protect them from snagging or tangling.
- Rinse your embroidery items thoroughly and squeeze out excess water. Do not wring or twist them. Lay them flat on a towel and roll them up to absorb more water. Then, unroll them and lay them flat to air dry. Do not use a dryer, as it may shrink or damage the embroidery.
- Iron your embroidery items on the reverse side or between two pieces of cloth. Use a low to medium heat setting and avoid steam. Do not iron directly on the embroidery, as it may flatten or melt the thread.
