What does The Thread Nest sell?
We make hand-embroidered and crocheted accessories and keepsakes: hair accessories, headbands, journals and guest books, bookmarks, mirrors, bags, and crochet charms and flowers. Everything is made by hand in our Hanoi studio.
Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every piece is made by hand in Vietnam. Because each item is handcrafted, slight variations may occur. These small differences are a natural part of handmade work and make each piece unique.
Can I add a name or initials to a design?
Yes. Our ready-made designs can be personalized with a name or initials. Tell us what you would like when you order, or contact us if you are not sure how.
Do you take custom orders?
Yes, from a single piece. You can ask for your own embroidery design, a different style or shape, any quantity, and custom packaging. Each custom order is quoted individually. See our Custom Orders page to request a quote.
How does a custom order work?
Send us your request and we reply with a quote and a sample image of your design. Once you approve it, we email a secure invoice link and payment in full starts production. Custom pieces take 7 to 14 business days to make, plus shipping time.
Do you offer custom packaging?
Yes. Custom packaging is an optional add-on for both custom orders and ready-made designs, charged as an extra fee and shown as its own line in your quote.
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes. We supply boutiques, gift shops, concept stores and other approved retail partners, with custom design support. Wholesale orders start from 10 pieces, with a minimum opening order of $150 USD. See our Wholesale page for terms and to apply.
Can I order samples before placing a wholesale order?
In many cases, yes. Sample availability depends on the product category and our production schedule. Sample fees and shipping costs may apply. Please contact us to arrange samples.
How long does it take to receive my order?
In-stock items are processed within 3 to 5 business days. Made-to-order, custom and wholesale orders take 7 to 14 business days to make. Delivery time is added on top and varies by destination. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide from Vietnam. Delivery times vary depending on destination, shipping carrier and customs procedures. International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes charged by the destination country.
Are all items always in stock?
Not always. Many of our pieces are produced in limited quantities or made to order, so availability may vary.
Can handmade items vary slightly from the photos?
Yes. Small variations in embroidery, fabric placement, color tone and hand-finishing are normal for handmade products. They do not affect the function or overall quality of the item.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the secure payment methods shown at checkout. Custom orders are paid through a secure invoice link that we email to you.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Please see our Refund Policy for full details. If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 3 days of delivery and we will review it for a replacement, store credit or refund. Custom and personalized orders are non-refundable once production has started.
